How to Play Online?

sorry I'm new player of stepmania I dont know how to play online .plese tell me how to play online

Register an account here.

Download any cvs version of stepmania, whether it be 3.0 or 4.0

Go into the profile options, in the options, use the same username you registered here with.

Then go into network options, and use the address found on the right of the website under server online.

Then go into start game.

You can also do like zagbag said, click the walkthrough, and talk to some of the site owners if you still have issues.

one tip zagbag.... lower your recording levels in the mixer or move the mic away from your mouth

lol yea if you want but im sure you could do it better ill make one vid <with better vocal's> and with flash effects if youll put it on the main server how to <<locked>> and if not im sure there's one already made

3.9 is fine. Just make sure its a cvs version. If it isn't, it will not work.

Use google to find a cvs version of 3.9.

I have put my profile name in the profile part but when it asks for password it keep's saying I got it wrong. any reason why?

um i googled a cvs version of step mania and i cant find it anywhere could some 1 post a link to a download place of a cvs of stepmania (i dont even know what cvs stands for) i really want 2 play online

okay, sorry for going a little offtopic, but... What is the difference between Stepmania 4.0 (alpha 5) and Stepmania 3.9 cvs ?

Because I do not know which one I should choose, Somesay that Stepmania 4.0 is still bugy etc... and I not want a buggy version...

so if you please know the right one to take tell me !!
