Damn Bug!

I just got an very annoying bug in SM 4 alpha 5.

I was logged in an played a loooong time with my friend (around 2 - 3 hours). And then I suddenly got kicked to the singleplayer game (out of the server).
My friend says that I'm still in the room but in real im out of the game...
Now when I try to log in again everything goes normal. But when it comes to the password it gives me the creeps. I am typing my password in (I'm very sure I did no mistakes) and then I get an message: "Lost connection to the server" (my stepmania is in german so I get an "Verbindung zum Server wurde unterbrochen." error).

After that I can't do anything, except pressing escape. If I press enter it just gives the sound and nothing else happens.

Please help me with my problem, I want to keep this username...

common bug. u get dropped from the server but ur account still appears to be connected to the server as a ghost account. to solve this you could either wait it out or, if you wanna play meanwhile use another account.

It happens with every stepmania that goes online, so the best thing to do is to make a backup account to use. This will last 15 mins, then you can log in with the same account. Either wait it out or use a backup. It's not just stepmania 4 alpha 5. Hope that helps. It ususally happens when the connection to the server is dropped while playing, such as your internet is shut off or something.
